Terms of Use
Last updated
These cover using this website. They are not the terms of a project — those live in the written quote you approve before any work starts, and nothing on this page replaces it.
What these cover
This website, at https://neiyoz.com, operated by Neiyoz in El Salvador. By reading it you accept what follows. If you do not, the remedy is simple: close the tab. Nothing here asks you to sign anything.
What these do not cover
Hiring us. Scope, price, schedule, revisions, ownership of the files and everything else about an actual project are set out in the written quote we send and you approve. If this page and that quote ever disagree, the quote wins — you signed it, and this you merely read.
Common questions about how projects work are answered on /faq. Those answers describe how we normally work; they are not contractual terms either.
The work shown here belongs to someone
Everything published on this site — the writing, the layout, the code, the photography and every project in the portfolio — is owned by Neiyoz or by the clients who commissioned it. The client logos belong to those companies and appear here because they hired us, not as any claim over their marks.
You are welcome to look at it, link to it, quote a sentence with attribution, and show it to a colleague. You may not copy a case study into your own portfolio, pass off any of this work as yours, resell it, feed the site wholesale into a scraper, or reproduce the designs for a competing product. If you want to use something, ask — hello@neiyoz.com — and the answer is often yes.
Using the site sensibly
Do not try to break it, overload it, get into parts of it that are not public, or use the contact form to send us spam, malware or anything unlawful. The form exists so people can start a conversation about work; using it for anything else just wastes the time of a small team.
What we promise, and what we do not
We keep this site accurate and working, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of every error. Prices, timelines and service descriptions here are indicative: a project is quoted after a conversation, and the figure in that quote is the one that counts. Nothing published on this site is a binding offer.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using this website. That limit is about the website. Our responsibility for work we are hired to do is whatever the signed quote says, and we are not trying to shrink it here.
Links out
This site links to other places — our profiles on Instagram, LinkedIn and Behance, WhatsApp, and occasionally to a client's site. We do not control any of them and are not responsible for what they contain or do. Once you follow a link, their terms apply and ours stop.
Your data
What this site collects, where it goes and how long we keep it is set out on the privacy page. The short version is that it sets no cookies and runs no analytics; the cookies page covers that part.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date beside the title is when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies. We do not keep an archive of old versions — if that matters for something you are relying on, save a copy.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of El Salvador, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you rights that cannot be contracted away, this paragraph does not take them from you.
